1. Use EL-50448 or equivalent tools to diagnose sensor function:
Each sensor is equipped with a low frequency coil. When the tire pressure monitoring is
used to enable mode, the low frequency transmission signal of the starting sensor is generated.
In the read mode, the sensor responds to the low frequency start by transmitting the signal.
In the tire pressure monitor read mode, when the body control module receives a read mode signal transmission,
sensor identification code assigned to and read in order corresponding to the position of the vehicle.
2. Sensor function - the use of pressure increase / decrease method
In a static mode, each sensor is sampled at a pressure measurement every 30 seconds.
If the tire pressure is increased or reduced by more than 1.2 (LB / sq ft) compared with the previous measurement,
it will be immediately re measured to confirm the pressure change value. If the pressure does change, the sensor is
transmitted in a read mode. In the tire pressure monitor read mode, when the body control module receives a read mode
signal transmission, sensor identification codes are allocated to the vehicle and read in order corresponding to the position.
